Al Roker to the rescue!
The 71-year-old weatherman stepped in to help on Friday, April 10, while interviewing former Laguna Beach cast member Lo Bosworth on the 3rd Hour of Today.
While Bosworth, 39, was sharing her take on the newly released Roku special, The Reunion: Laguna Beach, the new mom was wearing a gold necklace that had gotten looped around her microphone.
The resulting feedback caused a static sound throughout the beginning of her interview. Partway through the live broadcast, Roker decided to remedy the situation by simply calling it out in real time.
“You know what, Lo, could you take your necklace and maybe just put it inside your dress because it’s rubbing against your microphone,” Roker suggested.

Bosworth appeared caught off guard, saying, “Guys, on live television?”
But Roker’s co-host Laura Jarrett assured Bosworth, “Al Roker’s got your back.”
Bosworth expressed her gratitude for the candid moment, saying, “Thank you, Al, I appreciate it.”
“People are saying, ‘There’s something wrong with my TV, it’s staticky,'” the Today show veteran teased.
The rest of the interview went off without a hitch as the NBC morning show cast presented Bosworth with an adorable Today show onesie for her almost 3-month-old daughter, Nelle.
Bosworth explained that she had to miss filming the Laguna reunion in person due to being heavily pregnant at the time of filming.
